Directly to the west of Trellis will be Windingwalk’s planned junior-senior combined high school. To the south of Windingwalk is the planned Chula Vista University Park and Research Center, home to High Tech High’s brand-new campus, among other educational and business amenities.  To the northwest of Trellis at Windingwalk is The Marketplace, Windingwalk’s own dedicated everyday-convenience retail center. And just across the street from Windingwalk is the brand-new Otay Ranch Town Center, a world-class shopping plaza, with over 100 retail and specialty stores, restaurants and a movie theater.



The drive east from Trellis at Windingwalk along Hunte Parkway offers views of the San Miguel Mountains and the open space corridor, which runs along Windingwalk’s southeastern border. 

North and east of Trellis, the community of Windingwalk spreads out in meandering, tree-shaded pedestrian pathways, charming street scenes, acclaimed parks and two recreation centers that showcase the area’s distinct spirit.
